Please note, class sizes are limited and often fill quickly.  Please register early!

All classes run for 6 weeks and are $135 unless otherwise noted.

Good Manners

An Intro to Obedience Class designed for Puppies & Dogs 10 Weeks and up. We will learn all the basics: sit, down, stay, coming when called, walking on a loose leash and much more!

We will start with an introduction to Clicker Training and discuss common problems and solutions.

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep

Tues. March 13 - April 17

5:30 - 6:30

Canine Good Citizen training is great for you and your dog!  Each week will cover the exercises in the 10 part CGC test.  Polish up your Sit, Down, Stay, Come When Called, Proper Greetings, Loose Leash Walking, Reaction to a Friendly Stranger, Supervised Separation and Stand for Exam with distractions!  The last class will be the actual AKC CGC test.

This 6 week class includes our portion of the CGC Test fee and a copy of the AKC Official Book...

Citizen Canine-The Essential Skills Every Well-Mannered Dog Should Know by Mary Burch

Dogs who have taken Good Manners and have an even temperament will be most successful in this class. Instructor permission may be required.

A great class for you and your dog to take training to the next level!  Learn self control, solid stays, recalls and so much more in a fun, rewarding atmosphere.  For dogs of any age, this is the next step after Good Manners or foundation training for any dog related sport.  This class is a prerequisite for Intro to Agility.

Novice Prep Competition Obedience

Whether you plan to complete or are looking to have a very well trained dog....This class will take your OB training to a new level!

If you have been watching all the dogs and handlers having fun on the agility equipment, and would like to give it a try....this is your chance!

You may sign up for 1 - 3 weeks

We will provide SUPERVISED use of the agility equipment with Instruction.  NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS PLEASE! No experience necessary.  Designed for pre-novice and novice dogs.  Puppies Welcome!

Limit 6 dogs.  We will hold a spot for you with pre-registration and pre-payment in the form of cash or check.  Or you can drop in and we will be happy to fit you in if we have room.

Please bring proof of vaccinations with you.

Socializing your new puppy properly and safely is the number one thing you can do to ensure a well adjusted dog!  This is a critical period in your pup's development.
The class is structured to start with a supervised playgroup or playgroups, followed by a discussion of common puppy issues and/or concerns, and ends with more playtime.

You must have had your puppy for at least 1 week.  Puppy needs to have been examined by a vet, clear of all parasites and contagious diseases, negative fecal, and had 1st round of puppy shots.  If your puppy is having any health issues including diarrhea, nasal or eye discharge or coughing, please do not bring your puppy!

Private Lessons and Rentals 

Please call Amy Haskell at (802) 879-3130 for details on private lessons and rentals.

1. If minimum registrations are not met, we may cancel or re-schedule class. In that case, your deposit will be refunded to you, or you may apply it towards the next class.
2. Please review your schedule closely as we are not able to refund after the class has started.
3. Class sizes are limited.  We will not be able to reserve your place in class until we have  received the completed registration form and non-refundable $40 deposit.
